Many times a paralegal will be asked to prepare a deposition summary or digest, along with an index. What are the purposes of these documents? Why do you need to be particularly attentive when preparing these documents? Why might your attorney use a summary or digest for in the litigation process? Why is a digest or index more helpful than just looking at the transcript?
