For my final project I will compare the Statue of Akhenaten and the Great Hymn to the Aten, and connect both works to the theme they share (Akhenaten’s worship of/devotion to Aten).
The Visual Work is the statue of Akhenaten. This sculpture was made out of beige sandstone in 1350 B.C. The statue has almost perfect symmetry, apart from his left arm.
