Hi, my name is Bobby Fieseler I’m a reporter writing a book about Naperville, IL, and I’d really like to get in touch with the student from Indiana State who wrote and posted this story: Sundown Town, Course: POLI SCI 107, Winter 2008. The author writes about meeting a person who once lived in Naperville and experienced the cruelty of its sundown ordinance. This ordinance is now considered a myth in Naperville. There’s some evidence to suggest that the city destroyed all documentation and finding a person who lived through it, from the a historical perspective, is crucial.
