The FASB Project includes a 5 to 7 page report written on MS Word document and also annotated bibliography. For the bibliography there’s a section Getting Started which has a great outline of what should be included.

For the word document you need to include:

1) Identify the relevant GAAP and current standards involved.

2) Discuss the proposed change. What will be different and the reasons (why) for the change.

3) Use at least three different databases from the UMUC Library and find at least five sources of information on this FASB Project. This portion of the project was assigned during week four of our class. If you made any additions or changes to the research tracker during weeks 5 through 6 be sure to update your tracker tables (or spreadsheets) and submit your finalized version in week seven with your report and bibliography. If no changes or additions were made, you still need to submit your research trackers in week seven.

4) Identify the stakeholders involved and the impact of the change for each stakeholder.
