                Compare and contrast the gender norms, performances, and expectations for men and women in the U.S.  In what ways do you think that gender norms and expectations are changing, and how do these changes complicate both gender and the (former?) obligatory gender binary in Western cultures? How do you think we’ll start to complicate gender and the gender binary in the years to come?

             Write either a closed (thesis-based) or open form essay discussing the above questions, using the readings and videos for this class.
