After reading about California’s local property taxes, the revisions Proposition 13 imposed on property taxes and this relationship to public school education (hint: in the 50s and 60s California students were ranked first nationally on standardized testing we are now near the bottom), you will comment on whether Proposition 13 should be repealed or continued. You will research these issues on the internet, and newspapers. 
Research Proposition 13 and public education funding in California by reading about it. Analyze and evaluate the issue.
Write a one-page paper, which shall include the following:
Are you in favor or opposed to repealing Proposition 13? Why?
Defend your position with factual information. Cite your sources.
Which groups and/or political parties support your position? Which groups and/or parties oppose your position?
