Topic is: Implant Sterlization

Government is wanting to pass a birth control law to implant people to make them sterile. People are arguing if this is going to be mandatory or a choice.

*Decrease unwanted pregnancy

*Stop unfit people from becoming parents 

*Rape victims would be less likely to get pregnant

*Both parties would have a say so on when they had kids

*Control population 

Con

*Government would control, if they can control who is able to  reproduce

*People could find a way to bypass the implant

*Religions would not approve church/state

*If the experiment goes wrong we could end humanity, everyone could become sterile

*Spread of STD’s if we are not protecting ourselves from pregnancy then people would be less likely to use protection to prevent STD
