The purpose of this assignment is to get a feel for how Betas can differ depending on the source (the analyst group that calculated them) and also how Betas reflect different types of companies/industries.
- Look up the Beta of this company from 3 different sources: Yahoo Finance, Google Finance and a third source of your choosing.
- NOTE: every assigned company is listed on either NYSE or Nasdaq. If you are looking at data for a stock listed on any other exchange, you are looking at the wrong stock. Stop and find the right stock. Many stocks have similar names and ticker symbols. ALSO NOTE: you must find 3 data sources. If you find a data source and under Beta it says “N/A”, write that down.
