Advanced Ergonomics

Displays and controls can be very simple items within a work environment, yet they can be so very helpful and important to direct workers and others who happen to be nearby. From the beginning, this course has described ergonomics as the worker’s fit into the work environment.

For this discussion, think about an example of a display and/or a control. Then, describe what should happen as the worker interacts with that display and/or control by using the action-response-feedback-and-additional-action cycle.
